About this stretch
Nine kilometres of easy, open river between Brahmpuri and Rishikesh — our shortest and calmest trip, and for a lot of families the best hour of their holiday. Small waves, wide views, temple bells drifting off the banks.
There is still real river here: a couple of Grade II splashes, a swim in the current, and the same briefing and safety standards we apply to the 36 km run. What there isn't is anything intimidating.
Pick this one for young children, grandparents, big mixed family groups, or an afternoon when you want the river without giving up the whole day.
