Question 1

When is the rafting season in Rishikesh?

Accepted Answer

Late September to mid June. Rafting is closed through the monsoon on official orders. October–November and March–May are the sweetest months for water and weather.

Question 2

What should I wear?

Accepted Answer

Quick-dry shorts or leggings and a synthetic t-shirt. River shoes or strapped sandals — no flip-flops. Bring a full change of dry clothes; we have changing rooms at base.

Question 3

Do I need to know how to swim?

Accepted Answer

Not for the shorter stretches, but you must be comfortable in water while wearing a life jacket. For the Devprayag expedition, swimming ability is required.

Question 4

Are there age or weight limits?

Accepted Answer

Brahmpuri from 8 years, Clubhouse from 10, Shivpuri and Marine Drive from 12, Kaudiyala from 14, expeditions from 16. Rafters above 100 kg should tell us in advance so we balance the raft.

Question 5

What happens to our phones and wallets?

Accepted Answer

Leave valuables in a locker at base, or use the dry bag on the raft at your own risk. Our photo team covers the main rapids so you do not need to shoot from the water.

Question 6

How do I pay?

Accepted Answer

UPI, card or cash at base, or an advance transfer to hold a slot for large groups and expeditions.

Question 7

What is the cancellation policy?

Accepted Answer

Free cancellation up to 24 hours before a day trip and 7 days before an expedition. If we cancel for water level, weather or an administrative closure, you get a full refund or a free reschedule.

Question 8

Can we book the same day?

Accepted Answer

Often yes for day trips — message us on WhatsApp and we will tell you what is running. Expeditions need at least ten days.
